Materials
CrocRock blocks are made from high quality wet cast concrete - 45 N/mm2. There is no reinforcing steel in the blocks - only removable lifting eyes. After casting, blocks are removed from moulds and wet cured to improve durability. Blocks are delivered to site ready for installation - average weight 1 tonne.
Installation
- CrocRock offer a full delivery and installation service.
- Depending on soil conditions, either a level compacted hard core base or a reinforced concrete base will be required as foundation.
- Geogrid can be fixed as required using innovative locking system.
- Tapered block sides allow straight, convex or concave wall shapes.
- Surface treatment like staining or etching normally carried out after installation.

CrocRock use design calculation methods for segmental retaining walls conforming to Euro Code, specifically EN 1997/1, the latest recommendation for the design, manufacture and installation of segmental wall systems.
